Launching of new Android version starting with the letter 'O'

After  lot of discussion about the name of the new version of Android, it had been named as Nougat.

Now  September  2017 will witness the launching of the next android version starting with the letter O.  Developer preview  had been launched  already.  A developer preview is to show the developers the advances and differences between the old version and new version.   It  has been aimed to make necessary  arrangements  to  developers in developing their apps to suit to the new version.

While there was an overhaul in the Nougat , that changes can’t be expected from the ‘O’ version.
Android O developer preview is available for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X,Pixel C and Nexus player

The good thing about this developer version is that you can roll back to your OS when ever you needed .  It require only computer knowledge and the ability to follow the direction to the letter.

Picture-in-Picture mode
Which is already available on Android TV is coming to Android O.  This is mostly used for video playback.
Improved keyboard control
As Android O wont be restricted to phones, there will be improved arrow and tab key navigation for when used with a physical keyboard.
Connectivity  improvements

Wi-Fi Aware will allows apps and nearby devices to discover and communicate over Wi-Fi without an internet access point. There will also an improved Bluetooth support for high-quality audio through the Sony LDAC codec, and new ways for third-party calling apps to work with each other and with your network operator's special features.

FLEXIBLE SENSORS TO MAKE THE GADGETS FOLDABLE

In future tablets or big mobiles can be folded and put in your pocket.  Thanks to researches that have successfully developed sensors out of inexpensive material . The University of British Columbia made sensor  by highly conductive gel sandwiched between layers of silicone that can detect different types of touch like swiping , tapping etc. even when it is stretched, folded of bent.  This is a breakthrough  in the quest of manufacturing folding  screens in the future
iPhone’s 3D Touch can detect pressure Samsung’s AirView can detect a hovering finger and etc, etc. The UBC teams contribution is a device that can combine all these functions in one compact package, the researcher of the University ;  Mirza Saquib Sarwar explained.
“There are also sensors that are foldable, transparent and stretchable. Our contribution is a device that combines all those functions in one compact package,” said Sarwar. The prototype measures 5 cm x 5 cm but could be easily scaled up as it uses inexpensive, widely available materials, including the gel and silicone.
“It’s entirely possible to make a room-sized version of this sensor for just dollars per square metre, and then put sensors on the wall, on the floor, or over the surface of the body – almost anything that requires a transparent, stretchable touch screen,” said Sarwar.
“And because it is cheap to manufacture, it could be embedded cost-effectively in disposable wearables like health monitors,” he said. The sensor could also be integrated in robotic “skins” to make human-robot interactions safer, said John Madden, Sarwar’s supervisor and a professor in UBC’s faculty of applied science.
“Currently, machines are kept separate from humans in the workplace because of the possibility that they could injure humans. “If a robot could detect our presence and be ‘soft’ enough that they don’t damage us during an interaction, we can safely exchange tools with them, they can pick up objects without damaging them, and they can safely probe their environment,” said Madden. The research was published in the journal Science Advances.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S8; A GREAT LEAP AHEAD

The Samsung Galaxy S8 supposed to be released by the end of  March.  While Smsung Galaxy 7 almost rose up to our expectations there were still room for improvement.  With the launching of the next flagship phone Samsung Galaxy S8 hope fully that enhancement might be there to make it the most smartest of the phones in the market.

The price will be around $850

There will be a new AI assistant, dul-lens camera, upgraded screen, and rear mounted fingerprint scanner all rumoured.

Display
Dual-curved edges
4K or Quad HD resolution
5.8 and 6.2 inch resolution
Super wide 18.5:9 aspect ratio

The absence of physical home button to make the body more slimmer is an additional feature.
Like Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge Galaxy S8 also coming in dual sizes
The standard Samsung Galaxy S8 is coming with 5.8-inch display, while the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is said to have a 6.2 inch screen. It is said to have both are coming with curved edges.
It is said to be with  2160 x 3840 screen with a sharp 806 pixels per inch
Samsung S8s  screen is said to be aimed at to give a boost to Gear VR headset , Samsungs Virtual reality component.  A high resolution screen will be really a push for the  VR experiences.
Camera
Said to be software enhanced 12MP rear camera, earlier rumoured it will be 30MP
f/1.7 aperture with larger pixels  (Dual camera yet to be confirmed)
Other probabilities:
AOD (Always On Display) Even the display turned off there the pictures will hang on the screen. Recently a music player also added to this scenario.
Rear-mounted fingerprint sensor
Water and dust resistance
Samsung has been onto something with the design of the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S7. Its melding of metal and glass has led to some of the most attractive handsets around, so we don't expect huge changes here for the Samsung Galaxy S8.
There is a chance that Samsungs own Smart Glow Feature , which takes the form of a ring of LEDs around the rear camera, which can flash in different colors for different types of notifications and even light up when they detect your face, so you can more easily take a selfie with the main camera.
Some reliable sources say  it'll have a 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh battery in the 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch phones, respectively.
The smaller Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset that's just 10 nanometers in size instead of 14nm. The smaller size of the chipset will greatly enhance the battery power.
Qualcom’s debutant Quick charge 4.0 that greatly reduce the charging time will also come to S8
RAM and STORAGE
S8 supposed to be with 4 GB of RAM, and storage may extend up to 256GB !!!
PROCESSOR
3GHz Exynos 8895 processor/  3.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon chip depending on the region
Other suggestions about SAMSUNG GALAXY S8
