Project Ara’s release date has been pushed back to an undisclosed date in 2016. It has been assumed that Google is still working on resolving some issues regarding it s power consumption
The rep added, "We're confident that we're on the right track and working towards a launch
in 2016" and noted that the Ara team is heads-down and hard at work to
bring Ara to the people.
Third party modules for the project ara are on
the gear and important one is Solid Energy, are coming with revolutionary
batteries that have the double extended life of current batteries.
The company has developed an ultra-thin metal anode that has twice the density of of graphite and silicon anodes commonly used in
smartphone batteries.
